    DH and I went to see a performance of Shakespeare's Coriolanus this past weekend. It was a free performance in the park. We are fortunate in Nashville to have a thriving performing arts community. This has been an annual event for 21 years. DH and I have been several times. I had never heard of this play.     The Olympics have been good for my stitching time. I've been participating in the Rotation Relay event for the Olympic competition on The Wagon BB. You get a point for each stint with a WIP of atleast 2 hours. The good part of rotating approximately every 2 hours is that I have stitched on all 8 of my WIPs this month. Some haven't been worked on in over a year, so that is a happy. But, I admit to not feeling like I'm accomplishing much when I switch projects that quickly. I...

    Yes, this is an albino fawn. She (I think) lives in the woods surrounding my house. DD#2 has named her, Lambie. DH says if she grows to adulthood, she'll live forever. His theory is that because there are no predators around, the biggest danger to the deer are motor vehicles.     I made it through cheer-leading camp. I'm not sure whether I or the girls are more tired. We ALL worked hard. I had 17 or 18 girls each day. I have 4 girls who did not make it to camp at all. I will be interested to see how they learn the dance routines on their own. Those that came to camp did a great job of learning everything. Now it's just practice, practice, and practice. We have three scheduled practices this week - not mandatory, but I expect most girls to attend. Next...

Fibers
For a particular project, I need Au Ver A Soie 100/3 in the following colors: 357, 491, 284, 710, 135, and 004. And, Soie de Paris in the following colors: 2632, 2116 (x2), 4611, 4612 (x2), 1441, 2125, 5384 (x2), and 1423.

I am collecting Rainbow Gallery's Petite Treasure Braid (I prefer it to Kreinik). Colors I need: 35, 36, 37, 38, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 64, 67, 68, 201, 202, 206.

I am slowly becoming a fan of WDW and GAST. I have a very small collection, so any additions are welcome!

I often convert to Eterna Minitwists, so I can always use them.

I also like Gloriana silks - so yummy! I can't get them locally.

Other Stitching
I bead as well as stitch, so fun beads of any type are fun to have. Delicas are my favorite seed bead. I like fun glass beads of all types!

Hobby Lobby stopped carrying the needles I like. John James Petites - I use mostly 28's and 26's, but I do like the 24's for pearl and metallic fibers. I also use the #10 beading needle A LOT!

Fabric
I stitch mostly on linen (NO Permin or Wichelt linens), but I like lugana, too. Jobelan and Jubilee don't work as well for me. As for color, I like hand dyeds and neutral solids. Country Stitch fabrics are my favorite hand dyeds.

As for non-stitchy things, I am an avid reader of fantasy and historical fiction. This is my Amazon wishlist. I do keep it up to date for books and DVDs. I love faeries and chocolate (esp. dark).
